چکیده
Photothermal therapy (PTT) is a type of cancer treatment capable damaging tumors using laser irradiation. This procedure can be promising approach to complement current therapies, due in part its minimal invasiveness. One the challenges photothermal potential collateral damage surrounding healthy tissue, as well excessive temperature increase target tumor region that cause tissue carbonization and evaporation. With aim increasing performance targeted while keeping nearby unaffected, this research proposes use feedback control system considers cumulative thermal both types tissue. Two separate algorithms (fuzzy logic PI) were designed tested silico simulations made MATLAB® Python. Results showed controllers successfully accomplished proposed goals. Therefore, feasibility these automated systems improve efficacy safety PTT was demonstrated.

The development of imageable photothermal theranostics has attracted considerable attention for imaging guided photothermal therapy (PTT) with high tumor ablation accuracy. In this study, we strategically constructed a near-infrared (NIR) cyanine dye by introducing a rigid cyclohexenyl ring to the heptamethine chain to obtain a heptamethine dye CySCOOH with high fluorescence intensity and good ...

متن کاملImage-guided focal therapy for prostate cancer.
The adoption of routine prostate specific antigen screening has led to the discovery of many small and low-grade prostate cancers which have a low probability of causing mortality. These cancers, however, are often treated with radical therapies resulting in long-term side effects. There has been increasing interest in minimally invasive focal therapies to treat these tumors. While imaging moda...
